Hi Monica - Best Wishes for a wonderful day. Hope you are well and enjoying a nice retirement. My wife, Pat, taught German at Michigan State University for 35 years until 2013. We still have 50+ year friends in Deutchland that we enjoy staying in touch with frequently. I stay very busy with many projects and have enjoyed visits with Jim and Sue Keith each summer when they come to Michigan. My brother lives near Chadds Ford and we enjoy PA often. Our daughter and 11 year old grandson live 15 miles away in Dexter, MI so life is good. Just miss being able to travel under the COVID restrictions. Have fun on your HBD! Extra cake for the birthday girl!
Hi Tom, Happy BDay and best wishes for many good ones ahead!
Hope you are having an excellent day. I have enjoyed the website. Thanks so much for all you do. Had fun getting together with Jim & Sue Keith this summer after our BIG (Ken, Kay, +35 more) family reunion. Pat and I also had dinner with Pat (McDaniels) and Bill Gillula in Glen Arbor, MI this month. Stay well and active!
Hi Sandy
Hope you have a fun day for your HBD. I guess you were likely a true Labor Day Baby! Pat and I are doing well and enjoy retirement and our grandson who just turned 10. We had a BIG family reunion in VA at Williamsburg in August. Drove to Moon VA to have lunch with Jim Keith and his wife Sue. We see them almost every year when they come to Michigan for her family get togethers. What are you doing these days? Would love to hear from you cdonpaul@aol.com

Happy BDay Jim!
Pat and I enjoyed the evening last night with you and Sue at the Dearborn Inn and Ford's Garage. Hope we have a chance to see you at Moon in a week or so. Keep swinging that golf club - as I said, 76 is a good score - we are tied! Best Wishes and HBD!
Hi Larry and Sally,
Just noticed you had updated your profile, so took a look. Nice pic of the CHAMPS!
Pat and I have stayed in touch with Jim Keith and Sue and Jim often speaks of you. Hope you are well and enjoying the great Northwest. Glad to have you as part of our team as we enter the fourth quarter of our 100 year marathon!

Hi Gene - Hope you have a great day and glad to have you on the team as we go for the win in our 4th quarter! Happy BDay Mine is an Earth Day Birthday and I scratched Mother Earth's back the day before (aka raking up 12 piles of willow branches) I am holding a DVD of Fried Green Tomatoes because on our trip home from FL, Pat and I stopped in Juliette, GA and visited the Whistle Stop Cafe for a yummy lunch. When I asked the older woman at the gift store how she was doing, shr replied "Well, I'm still on this side of the dirt!!" Quite the good movie 1991 and an interesting LITTLE burg. Pat and I and Jim and Sue Keith have stayed in touch. They come to MI each summer and we will see them this July. Enjoy the day! All the best.

HBD JJF! Hope you are well and still having fun! Michigan is freezing today, but Pat and I are heading to FL on 3/19. Best wishes to you and the family for 2019. We had a nice Christmas and I just finished doing the set for our 9 year old grandson's musical - Peter Pan Jr. He was a pirate and the crocodile who chases and eats Captain Hook. He had fun!

HBD Shirley,
I looked where Barnhart, MO is located and you are in the neighborhood of my ancestors. My maternal grandparents lived in Desoto and Gramma Paulsell lived (to 96) in Potosi. My father was born in Belle. Lots of fun memories going there to visit. Desoto is a very hilly town and was/is the repair yard for the Misouri/Union Pacific Railroads. I would watch the biggest steam engines ever built roll in there. Wishing you a great day and year ahead.

HBD Sandy,
Hope you are enjoying a nice retirement and fun with the kids and grandkids. Pat and I enjoy spending time UP NORTH in Michigan with family and grandson, who just turned 9 and had an"Incredible" themed HBD party! I like the joke about the girl who wanted a Cinderella themed party, so her mom invited her friends to come clean the house! :-)
See you at the next reunion.

HBD Ron,
One of my summer jobs during college was as an inspector during the building of I-55. Had to do core samples and slump tests. Some of those segments have held up well. Hope you are holding up well too and enjoying retirement and having fun!
We enjoy being UP NORTH in Michigan with our family and grandson.
Best wishes. C Don Paulsell
From one Don to another, although I am a Donnell ( my mom's best friends name) - hoping your HBD was great and you got lots of hugs and extra cake! Pat and I live in Chelsea, MI and have one daugher and one grandson who are 15 minutes away. We have enjoyed cruising with them on Disney. Here are a few pics for a good laugh!

Hi PSB,
Hope you had a great day! All days are great at our age! As Carl Reiner says, he reads the obits first thing and if he's not in there , he eats breakfast! I see I had sent you the old pics from Blackhawk days. They are not very high resolution on this website.
If you would like the higher resolution files, send me an email at cdonpaul@aol.com and I will send them and some others that will give you a smile. Stay well and have fun! C Don
Pic below is my son-in-law, daughter, grandson and wife. Retirement is super! Get to see Jim and Sue Keith almost every year when they come to Michigan.
Hi Jack,
Hope you have a great day and gets lots of hugs from the grandkids.
I can imagine you are one of their favorite, fun people!
Pat and I just had one daughter and she just has one son, but they live only 15 minutes away so we have the pleasure and fun of frequent contact. Ryan is 7 and will turn 8 on 8/30/17. He loves LEGOS and Star Wars.
We go UP NORTH to our condo on Lake Michigan near Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.
So beautiful, diverse and enjoyable. Here is a cool U-Tube for your HBD!
The guy flying the 3 kites is in his 80s and he's from Canada.
He comes to the Washington State International Kite Festival every year.
His skin is like leather as he normally flies with his shirt off.
He is deaf, so when he flies, we hold our hands up and wave them for applause.
He flies 2 with his hands and the 3rd one is attached to his waist.
You must watch to the end to see the amazing landing of that last kite. And make sure your volume is turned up because the music is wonderful and totally reflects the soaring of the kites.
