HENDERSON, NV – Anthony V. Zummo, 71, formerly of Springfield and Girard, Ill., passed away Sept. 17, 2015, in Henderson, Nev.

Anthony was born Dec. 7, 1943, in Springfield, the son of Tony and Catherine Zummo.

Anthony was a graduate of Springfield High School and attended Sangamon State University. Anthony worked for the Illinois Department of Revenue, where he retired after 35 years.

His was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew.

He is survived by his longtime friend, Bob Boyle; his sisters, Rose Huckeby and Shirley Bailey of Springfield; brother, Vince Zummo of Glasgow Mo.; an uncle and several nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015, at Girard Township Cemetery.
