Mark Earleywine of Springfield died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from 1962 to 1968 on the USS Saratoga.  He was a member of American Legion Post 0742 in Hutsonville and Masonic Lodge 500 AF&AM, and Eastern Star Lodge Lalla Rookh 218.  He also was a member of Illini Bass Anglers and a charter member of BASS.  Surviving are his wife, Pam; mother, Winnie Earleywine; a stepson, Paul (wife, Beth) Golladay; a brother, Dan (wife, Marilyn) Earleywine, all of Springfield; a sister-in-law, Pat Earleywine of Lexington, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
