SPRINGFIELD - Lorena Lou Porter, 68, of Springfield, died at 6:51 am, Thursday, April 21, 2011. She was born February 3, 1943 the daughter of Guy and Carmen Warenburg Myers. She married Larry D. Porter March 15, 1968.

Surviving Lorena are her husband; four children, Loren (Reba) Porter of Chatham, Lowell Porter, Daniel E. Porter, and Diana (Jim) Mitchell, all of Springfield; eight grandchildren; Bailey, Levi, and Noah Porter, and Mikaela, Christian, Hannah, Andrew and Nathanael Mitchell.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, Guy; 1 sister, Jeannette Myers; and 2 grandchildren, Claire Mitchell and Elijah Porter.

Visitation: 9am to 11:30 am Monday, April 25, 2011 at Grace Baptist Church.

Funeral Service: 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2011 at Grace Baptist Church with Reverend's Richard and Dave Brady officiating. Burial will be at Grove City Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
