Michael P. O'Bryen of Whitefish, Montana, formerly of Springfield and Newport Beach, Calif.  died Wednesday, July 27, 2005 near Columbia, MO., of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  He graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and was a member of Theta Xi fraternity and SIU Alumni Association.  He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.  Survivors: daughter, Molly Ruth O'Bryen of Seattle; stepdaughter, Amy Watson of Laguna Beach, Calif.; stepson, Philip Watson of Riverside, Calif.; mother, Suzanne O'Bryen Bock of Taylorville; brother, Timothy Paul O'Bryen of Plano, Texas; and former wife, Sheila Nicholas O'Bryen.
