Kenneth Richard Vick 1936 - 2021

Clemson, SC—Kenneth Richard Vick, 85, of Clemson, South Carolina, passed away unexpectedly from heart failure August 11, 2021 at the AnMed Medical Center.

Born January 3, 1936 in Evanston, Illinois, Ken was a loving husband, father, proud "Papa," and lifelong educator. He was notoriously optimistic and a talented craftsman. His wish was for his body to be donated to the USC Medical College Greenville, SC so that he could continue teaching and further the education of future medical professionals.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years Carole Ann "Meurlot" Vick, their children Scott (Kim) Vick of Clemson, SC and Lisa (John) Thomsen of Brookfield, WI and five grandchildren; Matthew Thomsen, Lexie Vick, Lacey Vick, Brandi Thomsen and Danielle Thomsen.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
