I was just informed about the passing of David .... what a shock and my heart is so sad.

I grew up in Hay Edwards with David as a dear, dear friend ..... in fact David was probably the first boy I ever kissed .... think we were in 6th grade then.  He would carry my books even in 2nd grade (when we really didn't even have books) when I came to Hay Edwards from my last 2 schools, Butler and West Grand.

In high school we grew apart and totally lost contact with each other after that.  We met again at one of our high school reunions and it felt like being with a long lost family member - even though he was a Judge, he hadn't changed and I got to meet his adorable wife, Candy, as we exchanged quick updates of our lives thus far.

It's so amazing to me how we all go off to our separate lives from highschool and detach from those who were so near and dear .... but I guress that's the progression of life.  However when death takes a long lost friend from this earth, it is still an earth shattering experience to those who remain .... whether still physically close or not.

My very deepest condolences to Candy and the rest of his family and close friends ... David was one of a kind and so dear.

One thing I do know, some day we will ALL meet again, so till then sending love .........

Dave was a friend and fun to be around.  He always brought me up with his humor.  I was aware of his cancer and he fought it till the end. I will miss him. We all will miss him.
