Funeral Services, with military honors, will be held for Thomas E. Pfeiffer, 64, of West Dundee, on Sat at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, at Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee, with Fr. Timothy Doherty officiating. Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. Interment will be private. Born Jan. 17, 1943, in St. Louis, the son of the late Franklin "Kelly" and Mary Ann (nee Evans) Pfeiffer, he died Friday, Dec. 21, 2007, at his home. On April 1, 1967, in Springfield, Ill., he married Catherine R. Casey. Tom was an Air Force veteran, retired senior master sergeant Air Force, member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Tom, a wonderful husband and father, is survived by his wife, Catherine; two daughters, Noel A. Pfeiffer of Carpentersville and Elizabeth S. (Sean) Cawley of West Dundee; and one brother, Michael (Kathryn) Pfeiffer of St. Louis.

Tom's wife, Catherine, passed away in January of 2008.

John Regan cut and pasted this obituary from the Daily Herald archive of Arlington Heights and wrote the following regarding Tom:   I went to grade school with Tom and never saw him again after high school. Since he was near me up here in Northern IL I decided to look him up and found only his obituary ONLINE so am passing it along. I am 99% sure this is him based on AGE, married in Springfield in 67 and he was a Catholic for sure since we both went to St. Agnes elementary school in Springfield (class of '57 there).
